Job Description
The Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan is seeking an entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented development leader to serve as its next Vice President for Philanthropic Services. Reporting to the President and serving as a member of the senior leadership team, the VP will manage the Philanthropic Services department and provide strategic vision and direction to all aspects of fundraising and lead and inspire a talented team.

The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, founded in 1984, is a multifaceted, full-service philanthropic organization leading the way to positive change and serving the seven counties of southeast Michigan. A highly entrepreneurial organization, the Community Foundation grew to over $1 billion in assets at the end of 2019. This asset value ranks the organization in the top 30 of community foundations nationwide. Over 4,200 grants made in 2019 totaled $87 million, and gifts received were over $96 million. The Community Foundation is in the first year of a three-year asset development plan to secure $275 million. From piggy banks to high net worth funds and foundations, the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan has been helping donors make the most of their charitable contributions and fulfill their philanthropic goals for more than 30 years.
