Job Description
The Senior Philanthropy Officer will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 150 high-potential prospects and donors. This role is responsible for devising personalized engagement plans for each assigned prospect, leveraging RISD cultivation opportunities, presenting gift opportunity proposals that speak to a donor’s philanthropic goals while supporting the mission and goals of the College. With seven years+ of fundraising experience in designing and executing major and principal gifts strategies, the ideal candidate will possess the proven ability to manage complex organizational relationships and work effectively with executive leadership.
An interest and/or experience in art and design is highly desirable. Candidates who approach their advancement careers with a spirit of innovation, entrepreneurialism, and creativity will thrive in RISD’s fast-paced, collaborative, and ambitious culture.
